A beginning of a blog and a blogger

Hi to everybody! I'm new on this (a little late on these days, right? hehe) but hopefully not too late and I hope you like it.

I will start explaining a little about me, the contents of this blog (why that tittle?) and then I'll talk about some ideas and questions of my first topic...blogs!

Well, I'm a student of economics in South America (sorry if my English is not perfect), I love to see TV, do sports and...think! About what? everything! I like to question about what drives people behavior, how things can be make better, how the world works and in general, try to think 'out of the box'. Because of this I will describe me as creative person with a lot of imagination and willing to learn all the time new stuff about any topic.

In this blog I want to post some ideas, questions and reflections that I have about different topics, like new products or movies I have in my head, topics about economics, finance, poverty or even reflections about the human nature (what makes people laugh, for example)...in general about everything I have in my mind now and in the future. Hope you like it! :) But for this to work, it's very important your participation through comments about what I'm saying (you like it or not, why? or anything you want that add value), so please help the topic be more interesting making comments!

Saying that, the first reflection I have in my mind is (obviously) about the blogs. How impressive they are, right? People communicating through articles expressing they ideas, opinions, and experiences is amazing. But, why they want that? what benefits people receive from spending time and neurons writing stuff for free?

Something I catch in the last years is a need in the people to express themselves, to communicate in any level with any people...that's why business that had grew a lot in the last years are related with this need, like YouTube allowing everybody to post a video and letting the world to see that video (clearly a form of communication), Facebook or MySpace with the social network and thus letting friends to be communicated all time, Twitter, a clear form of expressing feelings and events of a person to they buddies and of course the Blogs!. Seen this kind of success I will love to create something that also supply that need of communication and expression (any idea?). Clearly, there is a growing demand.

Analysing this need I question myself...this is a consequence of globalization and development of technology like Internet or an essential part of being human? For me, the answer is not very clear. Although the need to communicate (and this is a essential part of evolution) is in everyone, this need is that big? why this need wasn't that big years ago? or it was but the supply wasn't good enough? I think that through time the communication need have been growing because the world is more integrated and today the demand is good enough (is?).

Being today a need the communication of ideas and feelings with the world, making blogs is the best way to satisfied that need. I have some ideas and questions I want to express so...why not express them to the world?! This feeling, that I am communicating to people around the world, generates a great benefit for me even though I spend some time writing and thinking the best way to communicate my idea to you. But all bloggers have to consider that the channel of the blogs are tricky...where I create my blog?, what is the tittle of it?, how I make people to read it?...is are questions people have to make for communicating the way they want through blogs (hope mine is correct :p)

So in general, today the need of communication is bigger than years ago, in part thanks to the Internet revolution and in part thanks to the inherent need of people to express his feelings and ideas. In this need is where the blogs arise offering a very good solution, but a solution where people have to evaluate the best way to accomplish his communication goal.

Post comments to start the communication process!
